Some passwords are "stronger" than others. Strong passwords help to protect your accounts, files, and personal information.

What is a "strong" password?

The strength of a password depends on the different types of characters that you use (upper/lower/digit/punctuation), the overall length of the password, and whether the password can be found in a dictionary. Length is important: passwords should contain at least 14 characters.
